On Sunday, Pembroke Dock Mayor, Clr. Peter Kraus, invited people to come along to Stackpole Estate and take part in a memory walk for the Alzheimer’s Society as part of his £10,000 pledge.

To his amazement, 32 joined him and it was brilliant. Guides were Jim and Marilyn Bebbington and Vikki Jarmin.

“It was fantastic and the scenery was stunning,” said Clr. Kraus. “It is nice to have such fantastic places to go and enjoy yourselves. Where would we be without the National Trust?”

When the walk finished, the National Trust laid on refreshments for everyone. Altogether a fantastic turnout and a massive £730 raised with still more to come in.

Added Clr. Kraus: “Thank-you everyone for all your support for this such worthwhile charity.”
