MR. G. AKALIN, MISS L. EVANS

Married in Denizli, Turkey, on Sunday, July 19, were Leanne Evans, only daughter of Lynette and Philip Evans, of Begelly, and Mr. Gokhan Akalin, of Turkey.

Guests travelled from Wales, England, Scotland and New Zealand to attend the ceremony.

Bridesmaids were Amy and Jessica Shakesby (friends since playgroup days), Bethann Powell (cousin) and Carol Hunter (friend), while flower girl was Morgan Louise Evans (bride’s niece).

The couple will be having a celebration party back home to celebrate with family and friends unable to attend the wedding.

The couple will be having their honeymoon later in the year in Thailand.
