Teenage model Lucy Mottram won the popularity vote of her fellow catwalk contestants to be crowned Miss Congeniality at a recent beauty pageant.
Fifteen-year-old Lucy was representing her home town of Pembroke in the Miss Spirit of True Beauty event in Coventry when she gained the accolade, awarded after the 40 contestants were asked to name the most likeable girl taking part.
Lucy praised the friendliness and fun of the pageant, and added: "I was absolutely delighted and honoured to win this title. It is such a prestigious award, and I am so proud to bring it back home to Pembroke."
The former Pembroke School pupil, who is going on to study beauty at Pembrokeshire College in September, was sponsored by Clique Cutz hairdressing salon, owned by Claire Rees, of Aberystwyth, who is originally from Pembrokeshire.
"Without Claire's kind generosity in sponsoring me, it would not have been possible for me to take part in the pageant," said Lucy.
Lucy will be taking part in her fourth pageant, The Face of Wales, on July 14 in Cardiff, where the top five girls win through to compete at the world finals of Face of the Globe at Disneyland, Paris, in October.
Through selling raffle tickets, Lucy will be raising funds for the charity The Rainbow Child Foundation - which was founded by Chico from X Factor, and helps deprived children from all over the world.
