Legendary folk-rock band Magna Carta have been delighting lovers of music with their live performances and albums since 1969. Over the years, they have performed in over 80 countries, sold over eight million records worldwide, and have six gold and three silver albums to their name.

The band line-up has changed numerous times over the years, the one constant being founder member and chief songwriter Chris Simpson, and he will be fronting the trio when they appear at Burnett’s Hill, Martletwy next week as part of a short tour of Wales.

Completing the line-up will be former Albion Band and Steeleye Span guitarist Ken Nicol and classically-trained rock and jazz violinist Wendy Ross.

The concert will be on Wednesday, September 5 at 7.30 pm and tickets are available from Main Street Music in Pembroke or by calling 01646 651725.
