A Pembroke Dock man who breached a community order when he pleaded guilty to four shoplifting offences over a three-day period back in January, has been told to carry on with the progress he is making through the probation service.
Twenty-four-year-old Robert Marcus William Britton, of Meyrick Street, admitted charges of stealing alcohol from the Tesco store in Pembroke Dock on four separate occasions between January 9 and 11, when he appeared before Haverfordwest magistrates last month.
The case was adjourned at the time, with magistrates deferring the charges and ordering Mr. Britton to fully comply with the community order and to continue to seek help for his alcohol problems through the probation service.
Reappearing in court on Tuesday, Mr. Britton had his original community order revoked and a fresh one placed on him by District Judge Vivian Manning-Davies, who said that he was delighted to see that the defendant had fully complied with the order and conditions since the adjournment, and that he was making definite progress.
