Hywel Dda University Health Board have issued a ’temporary visitor restriction’ notice for Withybush Hospital in Haverfordwest.

“Several patients are currently experiencing symptoms associated with Influenza (‘flu’) within Ward 10 at Withybush Hospital and visiting is temporarily restricted over the weekend to those who are critically unwell or who require additional support from carers (e.g. in cases of confusion or agitation),” said a health board spokesperson.

Infection control measures are in place to reduce the risk of spread of infection and visitors are requested to check the latest situation with the ward before visiting.
