Residents in the Pembroke Dock area will be able to access more information on improving their physical and mental health, thanks to a Health Hub which is due to open in Pembroke Dock library next year. The Health Hub, funded by a grant of £24,300 from Cymal, will be run by local health organisations and professionals in partnership with Pembrokeshire County Council. The aim is to provide information to enable local people to improve their health and wellbeing and to prevent future bad health. There will be a private consultation room for customers to talk to health professionals, and a large area providing books, leaflets and seating. The Health Hub is planned to open early next year.
