The World's Biggest Coffee Morning for Macmillan Camcer Support at Ashdale Nursing and Residential Home in Pembroke was a great success, with staff and residents dressing up in green or fancy dress with a green theme!

Cakes, homemade corn dolls and raffles all managed to raise the grand total of £220 on the fundraising day last Friday.

The ice bucket challenge, thrown over six members of staff, was a big hit and two residents had their birthdays as well that day, with Walter turning 90 and Jack 95.

Three members of staff also dressed up and collected a large sum of money from businesses in Pembroke and from passers-by.

Thank you goes to all who made the day very special, especially Gloria and Susie, who were fantastic.
