A Narberth town councillor has raised concerns regarding potential flooding of a pub in the town.

The issue was raised by Clr. Glinys Meredydd who said, the landlord of the Kirkland Arms almost had to call the fire brigade last week due to a severe downpour with the water almost rushing into the pub.

Clr. Meredydd said that was mainly down to the low paths that Narberth has and the drainage.

Deputy Mayor, Clr. Sue Rees said the town council had been waiting for 20 years for someone to survey the drainage.

However, Pembrokeshire County Councillor, Vic Dennis hit back by stating that the drainage was being improved by the county council.
