On Friday Pembroke Dock fire Station held it’s 14th annual prize giving ceremony for the Fireworks safety competition run within the local primary schools.
During the delivery of fireworks and bonfire safety messages to the local schools during October, the crew from Pembroke Dock ask that safety posters and leaflets are designed by the children and entered into the competition.
“Thanks go to extremely generous and appreciated sponsorship from Valero Oil Refinery and Pembrokeshire County Command within Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, the station was this year, able to offer top prizes of iPads, Samsung Tablets and Amazon Echo speakers,” said Huw John, Crew Manager at Pembroke Dock Fire Station.
“The quality of the entries this year was absolutely fantastic and thanks must also be offered to Mrs. Jones of Ysgol Harri Tudor’s Art department, who kindly judged this years entries,” he added.
