NEXT Monday, December 8, at 8am, former Lifeboat RNLB Pentland (Civil Service No. 31) will sail from Milford Haven to West Wales Maritime Museum in Pembroke Dock for the official handover.

Local retired Naval Chaplain, Rev’d Michael Brotherton, from Angle has kindly donated his beautiful vintage - fully working - ex-lifeboat to the Maritime Museum.

A short ceremony will take place - the blue ensign will come down marking the end of Michael’s eight-year command/ownership of this wonderful vessel.

The red ensign will go up marking the new command of the West Wales Maritime Museum.

It is an early event due to the tides but if anyone would like to turn up to witness this event they will be very welcome.
