Pembrokeshire’s maternity service has a team of community midwives and women identified as having no risk factors, and who are having a normal pregnancy, are able to choose where they want to give birth – home or at the MLU.
Those with complications or requiring additional care are advised to consider the consultant led unit at Carmarthen.
