Mark ‘Billy’ Billingham, TV’s most experienced, highest ranking and most decorated SAS leader and sniper returns to the Torch Theatre on Thursday, May 5 for an “Audience With” after his sell out date in 2019.

Billy joined the SAS in 1991 as a Mountain Troop specialist and has been responsible for planning and executing strategic operations and training at the highest level in numerous locations (Iraq, Afghanistan, South America and Africa) and has led countless hostage rescues.

After his military career, Billy became a bodyguard and looked after celebrities including Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Sir Michael Caine, Jude Law, Hulk Hogan, Kate Moss, Russell Crowe and Tom Cruise.

Billy was awarded an MBE by the Queen for leading a hostage rescue mission, received the Queen’s Commendation for Bravery and has led countless successful missions. He is a DS on the Channel 4 hit tv show SAS: Who Dares Wins and regularly tours the UK giving talks to sell out audiences as well as at corporate events.

The evening will be hosted by Endurance Running World Record Breaker and Bestselling Author Mark Llewhellin. Mark joined the Parachute Regiment in 1983 and served until 1991 holding an array of positions including: Patrol Commander for operational tours in many worldwide locations and also served as a training instructor for the Regiments as a military specialist. Mark has interviewed some of the world’s top achievers. He has travelled to over 50-countries and has been featured in leading national newspapers and on TV for his running achievements.


An Audience with Mark ‘Billy’ Billingham is at the Torch for just one night – Thursday, May 5 at 7.30 pm and is suitable for those aged 14+.
