NEYLAND Ladies Choir is always looking for new members, so if you love to sing and enjoy having a fun night with plenty of laughs, rehearsals are held every Wednesday at 7pm at Bethesda Chapel Schoolroom. No auditions, and now is the ideal time to take that step and join this wonderful group.
Choir rehearsals recommenced on Wednesday, September 3 after a well-earned summer break.
The evening commenced with the AGM, and the choir’s president, Simon Hancock, thanked the ladies for their hard work and the ongoing commitment to support the community and helping to raise valuable funds for many charitable organisations. Simon gave his best wishes for the year ahead.
Outgoing chairlady Jayne Edwards thanked everyone for their efforts in what had been a very busy time during her tenure, but specifically thanked the choir's musical team, Lynne Kelleher and Miranda Davies, for their dedication and patience. New officers were elected for the coming year, and the new chairlady for 2025/26 is Debbie Phillips, with Sandra Western stepping into the secretary position.
