‘Glow’ Carew Castle’s Christmas Illuminations are back for a second year of fabulous free family festivities.

Don’t miss the opportunity to discover Carew Castle in Pembrokeshire and its Walled Garden dressed for Christmas.

Entry to the event is free of charge every Friday to Sunday from December 1 to 17, 4.30pm to 7.30pm.

As you walk towards the Walled Garden you can’t miss the spectacular east face of the Castle lit up to stunning effect. In the Walled Garden enchanting light displays create a magical garden for all the family including an all new ‘glow in the dark’ games and activities area.

A fun Reindeer Trail is available from the Castle Shop for £2 per child, including a festive prize!

Nest Tearoom will be open serving all your festive favourites including a range of luxurious hot chocolates, homemade brandy bara brith and white chocolate ‘snowy road’!

The magic continues as you follow the twinkling lights to experience the Castle as you never have before. Carew Castle Manager Daisy Hughes said “we have added atmospheric new displays for 2023 and are opening up more of the Castle than last Christmas. This event remains free of charge to benefit our local communities and say thank you for their support throughout the year.

“We are illuminating and decorating the Castle sensitively, with displays that enhance the inherent beauty of this spectacular site. This really is an event not to be missed and we hope it becomes an annual fixture in everyone’s Christmas calendar.”
