Empowering local female artists has been the mission of Pembroke Dock’s Dockside Art Gallery owner Dawny Tootes, since opening the doors in 2021.

From Monday, November 13, there’s a Diva take over of Dockside! As well as encountering the captivating collection of sculpture created by host Dawny, and existing works from a number of creatives such as renowned artist Perryn Butler, a host of new faces and their unique artwork will greet your arrival.

Each day of the week will see a different host at the Dockside Gallery, open daily Monday - Saturday from 10am - 4pm, and their artwork will be available for purchase. The Divas, Sally Green, Dawn Steward, Liz Tobin, Zoe Wilson and Anna Waters, will host at The Dockside Gallery for the next few months, as Dawny undertakes commissioned work.

Tenby-based painter and well-being artist Anna Waters told us: “I’m loving the ‘Diva Development’ that Dawny’s nurturing: It’s great to have an opportunity to have my artwork represented in Pembroke Dock. Back in 2016 I had a really successful exhibition in the wonderful Cwtch Coffee Shop and Gallery right next-door to The Dockside, and I’m really looking forward to spending time in Pembroke Dock again.”
