Tenby Connects is running a project called ‘Cheap Heats’ funded by the PAVS Food Poverty Support Grant. Part of this project involves running cooking demonstrations on how to use slow cookers, air fryers and microwaves to cook healthily and on a budget.
These cooking demonstrations will start today, January 20 from 12 noon to 2pm at the Warm Room in Augustus Place Community Hall. Each week the cooking of a two-course meal will be demonstrated and then will be available to try.
They are free for anyone to attend, and you can come to any or all of the cooking demonstrations. They will run every Friday until the end of March.
Today, a spaghetti bolognaise and chocolate orange pudding cups will be demonstrated. Come along!
