Is your child due to move to secondary school in September 2016?

The deadline for parents who live in Pembrokeshire to apply for a secondary school place for their child is Friday, December 18.

Pembrokeshire County Council is urging parents to make every effort to meet this deadline.

Children whose parents make a written application for a school place by the deadline will be allocated places ahead of those who do not, regardless of their home address.

The application form needs to be completed even if the request is for a school outside Pembrokeshire or an SEN Unit.

It is not sufficient to inform the headteacher of your child’s primary school verbally because it is county council - not secondary schools -which is responsible for admissions.

If you have mislaid your form or have a query, contact Pembrokeshire County Council’s admissions officer by ’phoning 01437 764551, emailing [email protected], writing to the admissions officer, children and schools department, County Hall, Haverfordwest.
