A 67-YEAR-OLD woman from Tenby will appear in Crown Court this November for two historic offences of benefit fraud.
Denise Ludbrook, of Green Crescent, was charged with dishonestly making a false statement to obtain a benefit, having told Pembrokeshire County Council in 2010 that that other than the home she lived in, she did not own any other property or land - to obtain housing benefit; and stating to the DWP in 2019 that she did not hold any property either in the UK or abroad - to obtain Employment and Support Allowance.
At Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, October 28, ‘Indicated Guilty’ pleas were entered for each offence.
Ludbrook was bailed unconditionally, pending sentencing at Swansea Crown Court on November 18.
