A NARBERTH driver, aged 19, has been sentenced for a drink driving offence.
Kyran Salmon, of Station Approach, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on September 9, where he pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle when his alcohol level was above the limit.
On August 22, 2025 at Johnston, Salmon drove a Ford Fiesta on the A4076, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath, 47mcg on 100ml, exceeded the prescribed limit.
Guilty plea notwithstanding, drink driving attracts an obligatory driving ban. The disqualification period was set at 14 months, reduced by 14 weeks provided a course is completed by June 2, 2026.
In addition, Salmon pays a £400 fine, plus £85 costs and £160 surcharge.
