Pembroke Dock Town Council has recently reviewed two house of multiple occupancy planning applications for the town centre of Pembroke Dock.

The developments which are located in Meyrick Street and Dimond Street raised concerns with members. They stated that they were very worried about the impact these developments could have on the town.

Members of Pembroke Dock Town Council discussed the applications in a recent meeting where it was commented that the local police and fire brigade had been called a number of times to the property in Meyrick Street and after listening to comments from neighbouring tenants it was felt that any similar development would have a detrimental impact upon the town.

It was commented that the property in Meyrick Street was currently putting pressure on the local policing team and with another similar development being proposed this could add extra pressure.

Members were concerned that there was little information on the proposed number of occupants for the property in Dimond Street and commented that they could not support any application which did not provide sufficient information.
