ON Tuesday and Wednesday before half term, the children from Saundersfoot Playgroup and Daycare took part in their annual ‘Sponsored Toddle’.

The children, their families and staff enjoyed the walk from the school down to the village and over to Coppet Hall where they explored the beach and played on the grass area with their giant colourful parachute.

Then they walked all the way back (a long way for little legs) stopping for some well deserved ice-creams kindly donated by the Tramway Café.

“We would to thank family and friends for their support on the toddle and for their sponsorship,” said Playgroup and Daycare Manager Cheryl Evans. “Also a special thank you to the Tramway Café for a bit of shelter from the wind and kind donation of ice-creams.

“So far we have raised a total of £346 which is fantastic and will be put to very good use.”

Based at Saundersfoot CP School, Saundersfoot Playgroup and Daycare is open between 8am and 5.30pm providing high-quality care for 2-4 year olds in a safe and stimulating environment. For more information, call 07984 756288 or email [email protected] .
