Dear editor,
We’re well into festive period, and I imagine your readers have begun to see stacks of Christmas cards land on their doorstep, full of festive wishes from friends and family.
These messages inside cards mean a lot to us this time of year, but here at RNIB Cymru we’re just as interested in what can be found on the envelopes they arrive in.
That’s because we can take used stamps and use them to raise funds, allowing us to carry on our vital work in support of blind and partially sighted people in Wales.
Whether your readers have one stamp or a hundred, by sending them to us they’ll be helping to make a real difference heading into 2026. We can also make use of foreign stamps, old postcards and expired and foreign currency.
Just visit rnib.org.uk/stamps, where you can get pre-paid collection envelopes or boxes for your stamps or email us at [email protected] or call 0330 002 0051.
Wishing you and all your readers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

By sending in your old stamps, you can help support the work of the RNIB, championing blind and partially sighted people into 2026.
