TENBY Town Council has published arrangements for this year’s Remembrance Sunday events, urging local participation and honouring those remembered.
This year, on Sunday, November 9, the Service of Remembrance in St Mary’s Church, Tenby will again take place prior to the Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial.
The service and reading of the Roll of Honour at St Mary’s Church will begin at 9.50am and those wishing to attend are asked to be seated in church by 9.45am.
The Parade will assemble in the grounds of St Mary’s to depart for the War Memorial at 10.50am. Those unable to attend the church service but wishing to participate in the Parade are asked to meet at Church House by 10.30am.
The Mayor, Cllr Dai Morgan would, as always, be very grateful if all local organisations could be represented on this occasion.
Wreaths for local organisations have been ordered and can be collected from the De Valence Pavilion between 10am and 2pm weekdays until Thursday, November 6. No wreaths will be available for collection on the day of the parade.
