With the weather having reverted suddenly to winter mode, four-and-a-half tables were in play at Penally Bridge Club on April 14.

Paul B & Stuart were top with 67.46%, some way ahead of second-placed John & Jill with 61.90%. Third were Jo & John with 57.64%. No slams again, but it was interesting that three pairs shared bottom spot with the same score.

After a break for Easter, the Club re-opens on Monday, April 28 at 1.15pm In the Village Hall, when names will be taken for possible play on Bank Holiday Monday, May 8.
