HUNDLETON WI members recently celebrated their 75th Anniversary with an afternoon tea at The Wavecrest, Angle.

Guest speaker for the group’s monthly meeting, held at Hundleton Church Hall on Tuesday, April 7, was Mary Jenkins from The Flower Barn. She gave a talk and demonstration on spring flowers and making a floral spring wreath. A vote of thanks was given by Jackie Cunningham.

Winners of the monthly competition, ‘A Flower Arrangement in a Teapot’ were: 1st Jayne Smith; 2nd Margaret Brown; 3rd Marilyn Williams.

Mary Jenkins kindly donated the spring flowers wreath for the raffle, and the lucky winner was Jayne Smith.

The next meeting will take place on Tuesday May 5 at the Church Hall, Hundleton, near Pembroke. The meeting starts at 7pm and the guest speaker will be Joanne Lutwyche from the Paul Sartori Foundation.
