HUNDLETON WI enjoyed a successful coffee morning at Pembroke Town Hall recently, with plenty of cakes, bottle stall, bric-a-brac, books tea and coffee on offer.

“We had a visit from Kathryn Wilkins from the Membership Committee, Pembs Federation of WI. We are grateful for her support,” said Jayne Smith, Press Secretary.

Guest speaker at the June meeting of Hundleton WI was Gareth Mills who gave a talk on the history of Orielton Estate, accompanied by film slides.

The meeting was held on Tuesday, June 2 at Hundleton Church Hall.

A vote of thanks was given by Margaret Luff.

Winners of the monthly competition, ‘An Animal Ornament’ were: 1st Edna Merriman; 2nd Lilieth Gray; 3rd Jackie Cunningham.

Tomorrow, Thursday, July 9 sees the WI group’s annual outing, which this year is a bus trip to Clyne Gardens and The Mumbles.
