The recent Christmas Open Studio at Ash Farm, near Kilgetty, held by Sian O’Doherty textile designer, was a great success and the perfect kickstart to the festive season for all who attended.

Customers were able to enjoy meeting and purchasing quality items from 16 designer makers from Wales coupled with delicious food provided by Paternoster Farm and warming mulled wine from Absolute Event Bars.

Sian stated: “The support from local people and the excitement generated by the event was overwhelming. It was a real honour to have so many talented makers all under one roof for the weekend. The artists were really happy with the amount of new customers and contacts that they were able to make and the feedback from both exhibitors and customers was really positive. I would like to thank everybody who ventured out to see us over the weekend and share in the festivities. We loved meeting you and hope to see you again at future events.”

Sian is already making plans for next year’s Summer Open Studio event, which will be held August 1-2, 2020, so be sure to watch this space! But before then there is still time to pop in to grab any last minute gifts as Sian will be hosting a Christmas Eve event from 11 am - 4 pm at her studio, with free mulled wine and cake to all visitors, as well as free gift wrapping!
