Paul Davies MS is urging the people of Pembrokeshire to nominate a local business for the ‘Rural Oscars’.

Categories include Best Butcher, Local Food/Drink, Rural Enterprise, Village Shop/Post Office and Best Pub. Each nomination is carefully considered, with regional finalists chosen before national winners are announced at a House of Lords reception in 2026.

Mr Davies said, “The Countryside Alliance awards, or the Rural Oscars as they’re also known, showcase the very best of Britain’s rural businesses. They shine a spotlight on innovative enterprise, the highest standards of produce and they champion those businesses that go above and beyond to support their local community.”

Nominations are now open. Visit www.countryside-alliance.org/awards to access the form.
