To mark Her Majesty The Queen’s birthday tomorrow (Thursday, April 21) a special beacon lighting ceremony will be taking place on Tenby Harbour.
Arranged by Tenby Town Council, the special commemorative lighting ceremony will take place at 8.30 pm at the end of the harbour pier, forming part of a UK wide network of beacons to celebrate Her Majesty’s 90th birthday.
Members of Tenby Sea Cadets will join in with the ceremony along with the town’s Mayor and mace bearers.
Also, to honour the occasion St. Mary’s Church in Tenby have organised a flower festival entitled ‘Majesty’.
The doors will open daily from 10 am to 5 pm on Thursday, through to Sunday, April 24, where a warm welcome awaits you and refreshments will be available at Church House.
A fundraising coffee morning is also being held at Tenby’s Paxton Court retirement complex.
