There are few things lacking in Pembroke Dock, but one of them is a cinema. Now, that fact is changing with the launch of a big screen family film club by members of a local church, St. John's on Bush Street.
The church has been running a highly successful film night in the adjacent Community Hall for anyone aged 12 and over for nearly a year, but, today (Friday), will add an earlier screening for children and grown-up family members, also in the hall.
The new screening starts at 4.30 pm and costs a fraction of the ticket price of a cinema - just £1 per adult, which also admits two children free.
The film nights always run on the first Friday of the month and have proved real fun for young and older alike.
This month, the Messy Film Club, as it's called, will screen the chilled-out family favourite, Ice Age 3. Delicious hotdogs, popcorn and drinks will also be available to buy afer the film.
Rev. Nicky Skipworth, the vicar, says: "The Messy Film Club is such good news for our town and, as a church family, we invite local families to come and have fun with us - children and adults of any age will be warmly welcomed.
"There's usually a second film club for those aged 12 and over at 7 pm, but because of a big meeting that night, that one will next take place on May 2. Both film clubs are a lot of fun, so we hope to see you soon! For further details, please look us up on Facebook at The United Parish of Pembroke Dock"
