BBC’s Antiques Road Trip show was in Tenby over the weekend, filming for the series.
The show which sees antiques experts set off on a road trip around the UK searching for treasures and competing to make the most money at auction, visited Tenby’s Antiques at The Green on Saturday.
There was much excitement when the show’s vintage yellow Fiat 500 was spotted driving down St John’s Hill and parking outside the antiques shop along The Green followed by a film crew.
Jason Sallam, the shop’s owner spent the next four hours filming an episode of the series with the ‘expert’ from the show, whose identity will remain top secret until the programme is aired on the BBC later this year.
“The ‘expert’ bought some coins, some silver and a small piece of furniture, as well as stating ‘wow, this is the best antique shop I’ve ever been in’ on their visit,” said Jason.
