HENRY Tufnell MP offered Year 5 students insights into UK political governance during his visit to Saundersfoot CP School.
The school expressed its gratitude to the local Member of Parliament. The class asked some very interesting questions and they thoroughly enjoyed the visit, which took place on Friday, January 23.
The Welsh Labour MP for Mid and South Pembrokeshire returned the honour, posting on his Facebook page:
“Massive thank you to the wonderful staff and pupils at Saundersfoot CP School for hosting me today!”
“Some brilliant questions from the lovely year 5’s, who all have very bright futures ahead of them,” he added.
It follows Mr Tufnell’s visit to Tenby the previous Friday, when he spoke with pupils at Ysgol Greenhill and joined the Lunch and Wellbeing Club, noting that the town has “so many brilliant regular community events happening each week.”
