Local choirs and singers are coming together for a concert on Friday, November 22 to raise funds for the charity Prostate Cymru.

The concert has been arranged by the local organisation the Pembroke Farmers’ Club, best known for holding their annual Town and Country Show at Lamphey each August.

The Pembroke and District Male Voice Choir and the community singing group, The Stackpole Singers, will be supporting tenor Trystan Griffiths and soprano Jess Robinson when they perform at the new Henry Tudor School in Pembroke Dock.

Also appearing will be well known local businessman Mr. Clive Edwards.

The compere for the evening will be mine host of The Bristol Trader Inn in Haverfordwest Mr. Brian Harries BEM.

Brian, who is President of the Pembrokeshire Friends of Prostate Cymru, works hard for the charity.

The idea for this concert grew from Brian’s appearance as after dinner speaker at last year’s annual dinner of the Farmers’ Club when he spoke about the work of the charity.

Tickets for the concert are available at several outlets including the Narberth and Pembroke N.F.U. Offices; the Victoria Bookshop, Haverfordwest; the Tenby Bookshop; the Henry Tudor School Reception and Rembrandt Jewellers in Pembroke Dock.

Tickets cost £15. All proceeds from this concert will go to the Charity.
