Pembroke artist Rebecca Wooldridge has added a new string to her bow.

Rebecca is captivated by the landscapes and seascapes of this area.

She's always had a passion for painting and being surrounded by such beauty, she's never short of subject matter.

But recently, she's embarked on a new project - thanks to a request from local musician Sid Colson.

Explained Rebecca: "Sid had a lovely Spanish guitar which had incurred some damage over the years and he wondered if I would consider painting it.

"Painting acoustic guitars is a niche I'd never considered before and as another string to my bow (excuse the pun), I eagerly accepted.

"I have used various painting mediums at some point in my life so using acrylics wasn't so far removed from my usual medium oil.

"Since completing the guitar, I have had a number of commissions to paint various instruments. I'm currently working on a banjo!"

Rebecca and Sid are pictured with his bespoke guitar at last week's music night at The Middlegate Inn, Pembroke, with music club members looking on.

The music nights are held every Monday evening.
