A Hollywood based radio soap opera named after a Pembrokeshire town is 20 years old this month.
Milford Haven USA was featured and headlined in the first ever issue of the Milford Mercury, when the BBC took an option to run 60 episodes of the programme on Radio 5.
The soap opera follows storylines based on the day to day happenings within the oil refining and oil exploration industry.
In a letter to broadcast journalist Jim Hughes and his wife Anne, the programme's creator, Mara Purl, tells of the celebrations taking place to mark the event.
A number of the soap's Hollywood stars, including Ed Begley Jnr, Linda Purl, Erin Grey and Mara herself, spent time in Milford Haven, when they made former Milford Mayor, Mrs Anne Hughes, Honorary Mayor of the fictional Milford Haven USA town.
