CASTLEMARTIN RANGE ON FOOT
9.30 am - 4 pm: The Castlemartin Range is a jewel in the south of the National Park, and access is made available through the Ministry of Defence. Secret coves and majestic coastal scenery sit side by side with lost farms and watery mills. BOOKING ESSENTIAL: You must pre-book a place on Range events.
Price: £8 adults, £5 concessions. Sorry, no under 18s.

WALK: THE PILGRIM’S PATH TO NEVERN VILLAGE OF LEGEND
10 am - 12.30 pm: Few places in Pembrokeshire can claim such a rich history of myth and legend as Nevern. This 3 mile walk explores the riverside woodlands, ancient homes and the mysterious church around the village.
This is a free event, but you are welcome to make a donation towards the work of the National Park Authority.
WALKING WITH LIVESTOCK, strumble head
6 pm - 8 pm: The landscape of the National Park has been shaped by many hands and today is a patchwork of farms and fields, where cows, sheep and horses graze. However, it can be unnerving to walk amongst these animals, especially with a dog. Please do not bring your own dog.
This is a free event.

2 pm - 4pm: In partnership with the Pembrokeshire Federation Angling Coaches, this session invites you to go fishing! Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go fishing Have you been put off by not knowing where to start, or at the thought of buying kit that may only ever be used once If so, this session is for you. Join angling coaches and our National Park ranger, Hadyn, to try out this interesting sport. All kit, including bait and a licence is included, and locations have been chosen that are both attractive and easy to access. A great activity for all ages.
Price: £10 per person.

MY FAMILY AND STACKPOLE
WALLED GARDEN -
A RANGER’S TALE
2 pm - 4 pm: This amazing site once produced food for the great house at Stackpole, the home of Lord Cawdor and his family. Under glass, and in carefully cultivated beds, fruit and vegetables and an array of flowers were grown. And for many years the Garlick family managed and ran the walled garden. Join Ranger Haydn on this personal tour of the walled garden. Discover how his family worked the site, and why they left. Learn about how the Walled Gardens at Stackpole is used today, and how new life was breathed into them. A very special guided walk. This short walk is around the walled garden, a generally small, enclosed site. The route is across grass and gravel paths.

SATURDAY 1
CRAB CATCHING AT PORTHCLAIS
11.30 am - 1 pm: Come and meet these crusty crustaceans in this fun filled family activity. Bait your line and send it down into the water, then wait for the crab to the bait. Learn all about these fascinating creatures and how they are adapted for life at sea. All kit provided. Children must be accompanied.
Price: £3 per child.
NATIONAL MEADOWS DAY WALK
2 pm - 4 pm: Join our Ranger Ian on a Meadows day walk with assistance by local botanist Stephen Evans on the flora and fauna of St. Davids Airfield.
Price: £4 per person.
THE BIG BUG HUNT FOR NATIONAL MEADOWS DAYS
10 am - 5 pm: Join us for a big bug hunt around Castell Henllys on July 1. Explore the meadow, river and woodland for bugs and learn about their habitats and why they need protecting. A guided walk with activities.
