A Pembroke Dock man accused of assaulting a female will go on trial next month after denying the charge.
Twenty-seven-year-old Ry Robert Williams, of Old School Court, Pennar, pleaded not guilty to a charge of assault by beating in Pembroke Dock on June 7 when he appeared at Haverfordwest magistrates court on Tuesday.
A trial date was set for Haverfordwest magistrates court on July 25.
At the same hearing Mr. Williams pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing 0.21 grams of cannabis.
Prosecutor Vaughan Pritchard-Jones told the court that the drugs were recovered when Mr. Williams was arrested for the alleged assault.
He was fined £80 for the offence and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge.
