Following noise monitoring installation in the Fort Road area of Pembroke Dock, a Pembrokeshire Council officer was ‘appalled’ and sent a ‘damning’ report to the police, town councillors heard.
The Town Clerk updated councillors at the meeting on Thursday, July 3 after a resident had made representations to the Town Council at the June meeting.
Councillor Steve O’Connor suggested the town council write to the police on hearing that the neighbourhood policing team was unable to attend any of four meeting dates offered.
A CCTV camera is expected to follow the noise monitoring in helping to identify antisocial driving, littering, drug abuse and other behaviour issues in the area. One councillor mentioned the need for a second camera for Catalina Avenue.
