A Tenby man accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend will go on trial next month after denying the charge in court.
Thirty-eight-year-old Richard Thomas, of St. Mary’s Street, appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Monday, to plead not guilty to the offence, which is alleged to have occurred in the town on Saturday, August 12.
A trial date was set for September 13, and the defendant was remanded in custody after magistrates refused him bail.
