Sauterelle Trampoline Club had another great day at the Welsh Trampoline Grades Competition held at the Sport Wales National Centre, Cardiff.

A larger entry this time, but still seven out of the nine competitors entered went home with a trophy or medal for their efforts.

Some of the children had only just progressed to a higher grade, and still did well, even though they had only a few weeks to learn a new routine.

The competition was open to clubs from all over Wales.

First place in the regional two boys section was taken by Leon Davis, Sarah Robinson came second in the regional level one, Keira Kettle came third in the same group, Menna Edwards came second in the regional two event, Ayisha Choudry came second in the NDP 1 event, Oliver Thomas came first in the NDP level two event and Amy Compton came third in the girls NDP level two event.

Amy and Oliver again both exceeded the qualifying score at this event, and together with newly-qualified Ayisha Choudry, will go on to compete in March at the regional qualifier event for the NDP finals, where, if successful, they would represent Wales. All three had improved their scores from the last qualifying event.

Oliver and Amy also entered the synchronised event where they finished in second place at NDP two level.

Keira Rice scored well to finish in reserve place in the regional two individual event.

Highest club score of the day again was Ayisha Choudry, 46.1.

Sauterelle Trampoline Club runs classes at Tenby Leisure Centre and Carmarthen Leisure Centre on Thursdays.

Some places are available, and you can bounce for fun and fitness or train for awards and competition.
