Sailing
The sailing meeting last Saturday was well attended. After thorough discussion, the consensus was to continue racing on Tuesday and Saturday evenings throughout the summer, with early, mid and late series. Junior sailing and adult sail training, if required, will take place on Wednesday evenings. The regatta is June 25/26. This year the club is hosting the Firefly National Championship between August 6 and 12, and for this event, and the regatta, volunteers will be needed. If you are interested in helping diarise now!
Six Nations Rugby
Tomorrow (Saturday) Wales play Scotland in Cardiff, kick-off 4.50 pm. The game will be shown live on the big screen at the club. Come on down to enjoy the match with a couple of beers and good company. Specialist beer available at discounted price.

Youngsters from aged eight are welcome to join. Courses follow RYA Stages 1 to 4 and meetings are every Wednesday starting early April with turn up time around 5 pm. There is a BBQ/food provided afterwards to make it a social occasion as well as an opportunity to learn to sail.
The club will be running Power Boat Level 1 and 2 courses for adult and junior members on Saturday, February 27, and Saturday, March 5.
Level 1 (one day) - Provides a practical introduction to boat handling skills. No experience required. Minimum age eight.
Level 2 (two days) - Provides the skills and background knowledge needed to become a competent powerboat driver. No experience required. Minimum age 12.
On Sunday, March 20, we have also planned a practise day to refresh and improve skills of those who have previously attended an RYA course or who have significant experience of driving powerboats.
