Iân Morris, senior coach at Tenby Tennis Club and member at Lamphey Tennis Club, was victorious in both the men’s singles and men’s doubles county veterans tournament held this week in Haverfordwest.
Following several knockout rounds during the week, the final was held in glorious sunshine on Sunday, with many spectators treated to excellent tennis in this inaugural county tournament for over 45s.
Iân (pictured) won the singles title after a two-hour battle, with a final score of 6-2, 6-2.
After a short break, he was back on court with partner Louis Warren, of Haverfordwest Tennis Club, and achieved an emphatic win of 6-1, 6-0 to take the doubles title.
Many congratulations, Yan, on a tremendous double victory.
