Narberth Knobbler Trial Run - Route starting in Narberth, along Carding Mill Lane and through Canaston Woods, there was a choice of routes and differing terrain, a 10km, Half or Full Marathon.

We had Jo Brace, Anto O’Hara, Ceire Merrison, Ann Rowell, Hel Murray running the 10km and Andrea Craig, Kim Harland, Will Lewis and Dave Gosling running the Half Marathon. Well done all.

Port Talbot Aquathon: Gareth Rees 750m swim in Aberavon Bay and 5km run along promenade.

On Sunday we were blessed with glorious weather for our annual club BBQ on North Beach, Tenby. With all the private boats at anchor and the RS200 National yacht racing out in the bay, it was like the Mediterranean - junior Ace Jas Stubbs was taking part.

Eighty-two members enjoyed themselves playing football and rounders, with occasional dip in the sea to cool off!

Well done to Dave Poole who did a lap of honour in his Tenby Aces swim trunks won at our Christmas Dinner last year - scarred a few for life!

Thanks to all who came and helped in any way; it was a great success.

We now look forward to Ironman Wales in a couple of weeks time!

Club ride Tuesday - Route 54 (Ludchurch and Reynalton): Tenby, Heywood Lane, Pentlepoir, Begelley, Kilgetty, across dual carriageway, turn left for Ludchurch, bear left, turn left onto Tanners Lane, to Templeton, fork left at Boars Head pub, Reynalton, Jeffreyston, the Knapp, turn left at Heatherton, Gumfreston back to Tenby (21 miles). Sweepers - Huw Bridges and Anto O’Hara.

Club ride Thursday - Route 53 (Cresswell Quay and Devonshire Drive): Tenby, Heywood Lane, New Hedges, Pentlepoir, turn left into Templebar Road, Broadmoor, Jeffreyston, turn left to Cresselly, down to Cresswell Quay, Whitehill, turn right to Carew, left at Carew Inn, Sageston, old road to Redberth, right over the Knapp to Heatherton, left into Devonshire Drive, right to New Hedges, Heywood Lane, Tenby (21 miles). Sweepers - Julie Andrasko and Gareth Rees.

Note that the rides will start at the earlier time of 6 pm from Tenby Leisure Centre car park.
