The sun shone for this year’s Tenby 10k on Sunday.
There were 600 entries, with 495 actually taking part.
“The weather was brilliant - sunny and not much wind to speak of,” said race director Simon Scurrell. “It was 18 degrees. It was warm for running, but there was plenty of water available to the runners.”
As always, spectator support in Tudor Square was amazing with a thick crowd lining the the finish straight from White Lion Street to Tudor Square, as well as along the route.
Marc Hobbs was the overall mens winner in a time of 33m03s, while Amelia Pettitt was the overall ladies winner in a time of 36m36s. The team prizes went to Pembrokeshire Harriers (ladies’), Llanelli AC (men’s) and Fit Friends Bootcamp Fitness (corporate).
“A massive thank you must go to W. P. Lewis & Son, Howies and Bluestone for sponsoring the event, as well as the members of the TROTs running club for marshaling on the day,” added Simon.
