Tenby United did not enjoy a great festive period. Before Christmas they entertained Crymych in a rearranged game after the original fixture was a victim of the atrocious weather.
And as it turned out, it proved another miserable night for the United as they succumbed to the Preseli Men by 40 points to 10.
Tenby’s only points came from a couple of unconverted tries by flanker Luke Hansford and second row and skipper Luke Dedman.
The match was a gruelling affair and as a result of a number of injuries, United were unable to field a team for last Saturday’s local derby clash against Whitland.
The match was therefore postponed and will be another which will now have to be rearranged.Tomorrow (Saturday) the Seasiders will take on Hendy RFC at Heywood Lane, kick off at 2.30 pm.
