Narberth’s Championship League game against Pontypool was a victim of the weather on Saturday.

Officials tried hard to make the Lewis Lloyd pitch playable, but unfortunately a heavy downpour of rain near midday destroyed any hope of the game taking place.

The match and ball sponsors had all turned up for the game and enjoyed an afternoon of fellowship. Many stayed for the enthralling Scarlets v Toulon match which was televised later in the day.

No date is yet available for the rearranged league game against Pontypool.

Whitland’s home match with Loughor in Division Two West was also called off.
