Tregaron RFC 71 pts.
Pembroke Dock Quins 17
Pembroke Dock Quins conceded 11 tries in a one-sided contest in Mid Wales, but with a bit of luck they might have come away with a four try bonus point.
It took Tregaron 10 minutes to get on the scoreboard when left wing Rhydian Jones crossed wide out.
Outside half Gwion Phillips pushed his conversion attempt wide.
As the half wore on, an understrength Quins side found it increasingly difficult to keep the hosts at bay.
Further tries were added by full back Dilwyn Harries, flanker Ryddian Davies, No 8 Hopkin James (2) and prop Dorian Pugh, four of which were converted by Phillips.
Despite being 38 points adrift at the break, the Quins were first on the scoresheet after the interval when flanker Josh Boswell powered his way over for his second try of the season.
Unluckily outside half Ben Hathaway struck the post with his conversion attempt.
Normal service however was quickly resumed when Pugh added his second try of the match, before No 8 James also scored his double.
Pugh, however, was the first to grab a hattrick try, before James also completed his own.
All four were converted by Phillips.
The Quins hit back with a try from second row Sam Richards, who after a fine lineout take, was driven over the Tregaron line in unstoppable fashion.
Hathaway converted to push the Quins up to 12 points.
Scrum half Arwel Jones added the 10th try for his side before Quins’ No 8 Boswell crashed over from a short penalty for his side’s third try.
It was the home side who rounded off the scoring when hooker Huw Jones notched up their 11th try.
Quins team: Rhys Bradney, Harry Lawrence, Thomas Doyle (capt.), Ben Hathaway, Jake Griffiths, Jack Davies, Josh Boswell, Mark Wooles, Sam James, Sam Richards, Martin Culley, George Bellmaine and Joe Whitbread.
