Brad Jenkins wrote himself into Lawrenny's folklore with a monumental innings against Cresselly that all but won them the match.
His innings of 174 against their neighbours, friends and arch rivals included 14 fours and 11 sixes, an innings that stunned the opposition into submission.
Lawrenny have been on the wrong end of two first wicket partnerships this season that equalled over 200 runs, yet it was their turn to cause misery for the opposition's fielders as they racked up 308-8, the other score of note being Steve Lewis's 54. For Cresselly, Bobby Webb took 4-74.
In reply, Cresselly scored 217-8 before they settled for a draw with Andrew Harris scoring 67 and Damian Arthur 52.
Carew had the better of a draw against Llanrhian which enabled them to climb out of the relegation zone.
They scored 200-9, with Rhys Davies hitting 60 and Ian Sefton 79.
In reply, the home side could only manage 141-9 as Sean Whitfield took 6-19.
Whitland climbed above Narberth in the league standings after securing a winning draw after the home side clung on to end the game nine down with 184 on the board.
Jordan Howell did well to score 42 after returning earlier figures of 3-21, while Ollie Cook hit 35 and Wayne Howells 31 in the home team's reply, but Johnnie Thomas, Mark Lee and David Dunfee kept them in check by taking two wickets apiece.
Whitland's total of 243-9 was built around Ed John's 76, Thomas's 47 and Stephen James' 37, while Matthew Johns took 3-54 for the home side.
Cresselly's Alex Bailey obviously likes playing against Johnston as he scored 77 against them to help his team reach 230-8. Earlier in the season the talented youngster hit a century against the beleaguered opponents.
Scott Arthur was also in the runs as he hit 71, while Harry Thomas took 2-47 in the home team's 214-9.
Lamphey were cruising at 51-1 against Haverfordwest seconds, but then collapsed to 109 all out against the home side, with David Blackwell hitting a brisk 21 and Gianlucca Trimarco 20.
Hywel Gibbs took 3-45 in the reply and Stephen Vale 2-25, but the home team crept over the line to reach 113-6.
Stackpole put up a solid fight against Pembroke who batted first and scored 252-7, with Phil Weston striking a sublime 51 and Ceri Brace the same after Rupert Davies took 4-77.
Brace was also in the wickets taking 2-23, while Rob Weston took 4-58 as the home side were bowled out for 199 thanks to Josh Davies's 58 and Roger Lewis's 54.
Carew seconds, meanwhile, lost to Saundersfoot, who batted first to score 277-5 thanks to Dai Davies's 104 not out, James Caine's 47 and Simon Wood's 66.
Wood and Davies were in the wickets as the home side were bowled out for 125, taking 3-44 and 3-20, respectively, while Chris Cole struck a belligerent 43 for Carew and Haydn Shapcott 35.
Whitland's second team lost at home to Burton who responded to the Borderers' 188 all out to win by four wickets.
Wayne Jones hit 64 for the home team and Paul Webb 39, while Stuart Harries was the pick of the bowlers taking 3-36.
In division three, Narberth seconds had a day to forget after being bowled out for 66 at Johnston to lose by nine wickets.
Only Richard Howell, Mark Wood and Sean Coaker hit double figures for the visitors as the home team's bowlers dominated. In reply, Johnston lost just one wicket in reaching 69-1.
Pembroke Dock lost to Camrose and Spittal despite hitting 211 all out thanks to Luke Murray's 52, Jake Griffiths's 45 and Peter Kingdom's 30, yet the visitors passed the total for the loss of five wickets, while Saundersfoot seconds' game against Llechryd was postponed.
St. Clears entertained Haverfordwest thirds and lost by six wickets after being bundled out for 54 whilst taking just four wickets in the visitors' response.
James Ingleton had reason to smile after scoring 21 not out and taking 3-15, but it was a day of misery in the sunshine for the other members of the team.
In contrast, Kilgetty couldn't stop scoring runs at Cresselly thirds after they declared on 299 in the 39th over, with the evergreen Peter Hall hitting an unbeaten 73 and Christian Phillips retiring after smashing a magnificent 201 to become the second player to record the feat in the club's history after Rob Beynon managed a double ton a few years ago and the second player to record the feat this year.
Cresselly's bowlers were smashed around the park by the burly left-hander for 24 fours and nine 6s, while Hall, the most destructive player in Pembrokeshire's history according to many, hit a mere three boundaries in his measured innings.
Cresselly's day of horror in the summer sunshine ended after they were bowled out for 67 as Toby Poole took 3-15.
Carew thirds lost to Fishguard, who bowled the visitors out for 59 and passed the total for the loss of eight wickets, while Lawrenny seconds hit 220-3 against Burton seconds, who were bowled out for 190 in reply.
John Beff struck 75 for Lawrenny and Steve Campbell 32, while he took 5-46 in the home team's reply.
Narberth thirds beat Llanrhian seconds by three wickets after bowling the visitors out for 138 thanks to Iwan Bowen-Rees's 4-20, while Dan Hughes junior scored 48 not out in the reply and Adie Jones 21.
Camrose did the double over the Dock after their seconds were all out for 100 in reply to the home team's 139-8.
Johnnie Hay took 4-20 for the visitors and Jamie Heeps 2-35, but their batsmen just couldn't get going against the home team.
Pembroke seconds drew with St. Ishmaels seconds after the visitors to Crickmarren scored 201-5.
Pembroke reached 153-8 before calling a halt to the run chase as Ryan Wilkins scored 31, Billy Wood 26 and Don Patel 24.
Hundleton hammered Haverfordwest fourths after bowling the home side out for 103 thanks to Ben Adams's five wickets and Dan McNiffe's four, while Scott Richards hit 50 not out in reply to help seal the nine wicket win, while Stackpole seconds lost at Herbrandston after scoring 110-9, with the home side passing it for seven wickets. Phil Tallet scored 36 for the visitors.
In division six, Hundleton seconds won their seventh match of the season to stay in the promotion hunt after beating Burton thirds.
Burton scored 77-9, with Stuart McNIffe taking 4-10, while Stuart Midgely scored 22 not out in reply as they won by eight wickets.
