The Pembroke Dock Harlequins RFC Under 8s team travelled to Tenby at the weekend for a three-game fixture against Tenby RFC, where the Quins continued their unbeaten run this season with an overall series win of 2-1.

Tenby, however, proved to be tough opposition for the Quins squad of 17 youngsters, with there being very little between both teams in each game played.

Assistant coach Paul Rowe commented: 'Firstly I would like to thank Tenby for hosting us away from home, they are always a tough side to play and have some very talented players of their own, but our lads showed some real team spirit and demonstrated some great handling skills that any senior side would be proud off to get the final overall win."

The under 8s section train on a Friday night (6 - 7 pm) and on a Sunday morning (10 am - midday) at the Bierspool ground and anyone wanting to come along and have a go are more than welcome.
